The Blues will reportedly be paid $75 million a season by Nike and the new deal will kick in from the start of the 2017-18 season. They terminated the contract which saw them paid $40 million per season and reportedly there was a $48 million fee to cancel their adidas deal early. On Thursday the Premier League side released a brief statement on their website with more details on the new deal with Nike.
