The 18-year-old was handed his first start since Chelsea’s FA Cup win against Sheffield Wednesday in January and caught the eye with a promising performance, capped with the third goal of the game late on. Speaking after the match to BT Sport, Hudson-Odoi said: ‘I’m happy with the result first of all. ‘I want you to remember that Callum played 14 matches, there isn’t in England another player with 14 matches in the first team.
