Chelsea will struggle to flog Olivier Giroud for cash in the January transfer window as clubs would rather wait until the summer when they can sign him for free. Giroud signed a one-year extension at the end of last season which ties him to the Blues until June 30. The lack of minutes have left Giroud anxious as he vies for a spot in France’s Euro 2020 squad next summer. According to The Sun, Giroud is keen on a move away from Chelsea in January, six months before his deal is up. The Blues are ostensibly willing to let Giroud leave but have valued the striker at £5million.
