The 30-year-old has no future at Chelsea and was made to train with the U21s when head coach Mauricio Pochettino arrived this summer. Lukaku is on huge wages – which has limited his number of options – but a transfer to Saudi Arabia could work given the wealth of the clubs in the country. It is his second spell away from Stamford Bridge since he rejoined Chelsea in 2021, spending last season on loan at Inter Milan.
