Chelsea fans were quick to heap praise on former Blue Fernando Torres, after he announced his retirement on Twitter. Torres had a glittering career in football, playing for Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea, before heading to Japanese side Sagan Tosu. But, after the 35-year-old revealed he was hanging up his boots, the Chelsea official Twitter account wished him the best for the future. The club posted a video of his iconic 2012 Champions League semi-final goal, against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, alongside the tweet.
