Chelsea boss Frank Lampard would improve his squad with the purchase of a new left-back and striker, according to former Blues midfielder Craig Burley. Chelsea are now able to sign players in January after FIFA cut their transfer ban in half last week. Burley does not think it is essential that his former club splash the cash now that they have the ability to do so. The ex-Scotland international says it will be harder to sign players in January than it would be at the end of the season. “You can always go out and try and get better players,” Burley told ESPN FC.
