Despite supposed issues with complying with Profit and Sustainability Rules, Chelsea are continuing to splash the cash on promising young players. According to The Athletic, Enzo Maresca’s side are on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign Kellyman, with just the finer details needing to be sorted between the two clubs and the player. He did score eight goals in 14 appearances for Villa’s U21 side and only signed a long-term contract with Unai Emery’s side last October. This transfer comes just days after Villa agreed a deal to sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea, with the Villans paying just over £35m for the Dutch defender.
