Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin has paid tribute to new signing Hakim Ziyech, labelling his pass to Timo Werner which set up the German's goal against Burnley "an overlooked moment of genius". And Nevin is a big fan of Ziyech, who joined Chelsea from Ajax in a £36m deal, claiming he is "an even better player than I thought he was". Speaking to Chelsea's official website, Nevin claimed his pass for Werner's goal would have made assist kings Kevin De Bruyne and Cesc Fabregas 'proud'. "The one thing over the past week that has knocked me out has been the performance of Hakim Ziyech", he said. "In two games he has proved to be an even better player than I thought he was, and I thought he was very good anyway.
