Eight fire engines and two aerial platforms are at the scene near the Manchester Fort shopping park in Cheetham Hill. The fire broke out shortly before 10pm on an industrial park on Bradstone Road, off Broughton Road and Cheetham Hill Road. The only road closure is Bradston Road and the nearby Jewish Museum is unaffected, according to the incident commander. One picture taken in Ancoats, around two miles away from the blaze, showed a plume of smoke rising into the night sky.
