CARNDUFF, Sask. — RCMP say the remains of what are believed to be two people have been found inside one of two homes that caught fire in a southeastern Saskatchewan community. Police say they got a call about the fires in Carnduff around 2:00 a.m. Thursday. The coroner’s office, a police forensic identification team and the provincial fire examiner are investigating. Carnduff, a town of around 1,100 people, is about 300 kilometres southeast of Regina.
