The injured survivors are currently undergoing treatment at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). DMCH Director Brig Gen AKM Nasiruddin and Burn Unit Director Professor Abul Kalam Azad were also present at that time among others. Of the 11 patients, nine are being treated at the burn unit and two are in other units at DMCH. Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to DMCH burn unit to visit the injured survivors of the Chawkbazar fire incident where she announced the donations.
