File photo shows HK residents about to board a chartered flight from Wuhan, Hubei province in March. The Security Bureau said a chartered flight taking 319 Hong Kong residents stranded in Pakistan back home has departed from Islamabad at 9:55am local time (12:55pm Hong Kong time) and is expected to arrive at the Hong Kong International Airport at around 7:00pm tonight. They will be transferred to the quarantine center at Chun Yeung Estate for a 14-day compulsory quarantine period by coachs after deep throat saliva samples for Covid-19 testing are collected from them at the temporary specimen collection center at AsiaWorld-Expo. The cost for taking the chartered flight is around HK$6,000 per person and is borne by the returnees.
