Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive end Charleston Hughes, who was recently charged with impaired driving, will play Saturday against the host Calgary Stampeders. Chris Jones, the Riders’ head coach and general manager, confirmed Thursday that the CFL’s sack leader (with 15) will be on the active roster for the CFL game. On Oct. 11, Hughes was charged with impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample for analysis. Hughes was charged two days before the Riders lost 31-0 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and played in that game. He is also expected to be on the Riders’ active roster when they play host to the B.C.
