Charles Mincy said Thursday he and the administration at Dorsey have parted ways and he no longer will be the football coach after two seasons at his alma mater. Mincy, a former NFL player, guided Dorsey to the City Section Division I championship game in 2016 before losing to Narbonne. His son, Charles Jr., is considered one of the top running backs in the City Section. Mincy said his son will not attend Dorsey for his senior year. Dorsey has been a longtime City power and is known for producing outstanding players.
