Charity receives helping hand from corporate volunteersSupplied BNZ volunteers help fill back packs. A year's supply of backpacks were packed for a Silverdale-based charity in just one day, thanks to the help of some corporate volunteers. On August 23, BNZ staff worked on more than 550 community projects nationwide as part of their Closed for Good initiative. Other north Auckland projects included:• Maintaining and developing the wildlife sanctuary at Shakespear Open Sanctuary SocietySupplied BNZ volunteers pack up the hall with stock for backpacks. • Delivering financial literacy support and general gardening at OutWest Youth• Cleaning and tidying at Red Beach Playcentre.
