But there is a great chance, a golden opportunity, to benefit from internal development, despite external deficiencies, to increase the level of service and potential tourist offer. It seems that this context, in addition to weakening the potential for cooperation, becomes an obstacle to this process. When it comes to investments in tourism, another aspect worth mentioning is their lack of harmonization with our cultural values ​​and originality, which are the true tourist assets. Such uncontrolled development and without applying the criteria, in addition to representing a wasted opportunity, is also a guarantee of a difficult future. The truth is that within a few years, if the tourism strategy and policy do not change from short-term (light) to tourism that lasts the entire summer and perhaps longer, our beloved Albania will remain a tourism orphan, unfortunately tarnished as the worst of itself.
