He added that Ms Siddiq had complained to police about the encounter, but did not give further details. The Mirror contacted Ms Siddiq tonight asking about her remark, and the apparent police complaint, but did not immediately receive a reply. Ms Siddiq was fighting for Britain's most marginal seat before she became MP for Hampstead and Kilburn in north London in 2015.
