Change of guard expected as KGU hold elections this Friday

Kenya Golf Union (KGU) has announced the increase in membership fees ahead of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Friday at the Muthaiga Golf Club, where elections will be part of the agenda. At the elections, David Ndung’u and Kinuthia are set to be elected as chairman and vice chairman respectively. Ndung’u, who has been serving as the vice chairman to the outgoing chairman Philip Ochola wants to take the helm of the union. Ndung’u, who is a member of Limuru Club, is expected to hold office for one year before the next elections. Brian Akun of Vet Lab and Golf Park’s Frank Wambua will be vying for the secretary’s post to replace Kinuthia.
