Celebrity fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has slammed the #MeToo movement, saying he is "fed up" with it. Lagerfeld, who has been the head designer at Chanel since 1983, criticised women for taking 20 years "to remember" and narrate their stories of sexual harassment they were allegedly subjected to. The 84-year-old German designer pointed out that "there were no prosecution witnesses" in all cases that came to light under #MeToo. Not to mention the fact there are no prosecution witnesses," Lagerfeld told French magazine Numero. Asked whether the movements like #MeToo and Time's Up prove to be hurdles in his approach to work, Lagerfeld said, "Absolutely not."
