Three days after calling off launch of Chandrayaan-2 owing to a technical glitch, ISRO has come up with a new date for the mission to commence. ISRO communicated that Chandrayaan-2 will be launched at at 2:43 pm on Monday, July 22, 2019. On July 15, amidst air of expectancy at Srikarikota where even the President of India was present, ISRO called off the launch just 56 minutes ahead of the due date. “A technical snag was observed in the launch vehicle system at t-minus 56 minutes. ISRO had earlier scheduled the launch in the first week of January but shifted it to July 15.
