"The middle portion of the building collapsed while the other parts are still intact because of which we are facing difficulty in the rescue operations. However, we are trying our best to ensure that everyone trapped in are brought out safe," added Rahangdale.Vijay Shyam Tiwari, a security guard in the building, said that a loud noise was heard when the structure collapsed and mud enveloped the entire area. Locals from the area said that the structure was originally 17 storey commercial building.
