A senior IAS officer's daughter, Varnika Kundu, lodged an FIR on Friday against Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala's son Vikas Barala, who allegedly harassed and stalked her on the streets of Chandigarh. Barala - and his friend Ashish Kumar - were in a drunken state at the time, and were arrested on Saturday. That Barala was related to a senior politician came to light when the police may have applied weaker sections of the law under political pressure.
