In a new twist to the Chandigarh stalking case, in which the son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala is an accused, sources tell India Today that CCTV footage from areas where the alleged crime occurred is missing. The Chandigarh Police sources say that cops have been unable to find CCTV footage of stretch where the woman - Varnika Kundu, the daughter of a senior IAS officer - was stalked by Vikas Barala and his friend Ashish Kumar. While speaking to India Today, Varnika said there also was an attempt to abduct her. Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas and Ashish after Varnika's complaint.
