Chanda Wong and Christopher Wesley Nickelson were married July 6 at Twin Willow Gardens, an events space in Snohomish, Wash. Sky T. Yang, a friend of the bride who became a Universal Life minister for the occasion, officiated. On July 5, the couple had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at Ray’s Boathouse, a Seattle restaurant. She is a daughter of Lena Wong and Moon Tong Wong of Fresh Meadows, Queens. The bride’s father owns Air Win, an HVAC installation and repair company in Fresh Meadows. Captain Nickelson, 30, has served in the Army since 2011, and is stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
