"On this, the defence minister Manohar Parikkar stated that there has been a fall in mishaps related to aircrafts. CHANDIGARH: The ministry of defence (MOD) on Friday expressed that probability of finding missing passengers of AN-32 aircraft of Indian Air Force (IAF) are very low.A formal statement in this concerned was made by the minister of state for defence Subhash Bhamre on Friday before Lok Sabha in response to a question raised by Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala about the missing aircraft. "Parrikar has given an assurance on giving help as per rules", Dushyant has claimed. In contrast, the number of such incidents abroad is far too low, he added.The MP also sought reply as to if the use of old aircrafts and their parts was a reason. Till the time an aircraft clears a test, it is not allowed to be flown", he said.The young MP urged the defence minister to give martyr status to the IAF personnel losing their lives while serving the country and that their families should get the due benefits.
