The similarities between two of England’s most prominent attacking players are obvious given their age, left-footedness and the maturity they have often displayed on the big occasion. Palmer was crowned England’s Player of the Year earlier this week, an award Saka had won two years on the trot. Fabregas, who represented both London rivals, took to X on Sunday to air his annoyance after fake quotes were attributed to him. ‘The danger of social media is people really believe anything they read,’ said the former Spain international.
