Cesc Fabregas has joined Ligue 1 side Monaco from Chelsea, the clubs have confirmed. "Cesc Fabregas has today completed a permanent transfer to Monaco," Chelsea said on their website as Ligue 1 Monaco tweeted a video of Fabregas with a voice-over saying "now it's time". Monaco confirmed Fabregas has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, committing him to the club until 2022. Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev told his club's official website: "We are very pleased to welcome to AS Monaco Cesc Fabregas, a world-class player and a great professional, whose arrival demonstrates the ambition of the club.
