Dubbed: 'New Year in the Mother,' it seeks to ensure that the African-Americans are connected to their roots. Nii Armah Quaye, a Co-Founder of Certified Africa, speaking with the Ghana News Agency at the event, noted that the visitors would be staying in the country for eight days. Nii Armah Quaye said places to be visited included the Cape Coast Castle, the Kakum National Park in the Central Region, and the Aqua Safari Resort at Ada in the Greater Accra Region. He said Certified Africa is in partnership with the tourism industry to take advantage of the events to boost the economic fortunes of the country.
