The Centre later clarified that the move was temporary and it was planning a long-term policy to tackle online child sexual abuse. “Child abuse content online is a big nuisance and we want to help stop it. Online sexual abuse (child pornography), cyberbullying, cyberstalking and webcam sexual abuse are just some of the several forms of sexual abuse through Internet, it added. He also pointed out that search engines, which presently block a few key words should block search results for such content. Child abuse is illegal in almost all over the world.
