Telangana has been demanding a 'fair' share in Krishna water. AP has alleged that Telangana delayed water release despite clear instructions from the KRMB. "The committee will inspect the dams that will come into the purview of the KRMB and submit a report to the Union water resources ministry. The committee will firm up a 'working formula' on sharing of water for the current Kharif season.Two senior engineers from the Central Water Commission, A K Bajaj and Suresh Chandra, will be members of the committee. AP has been demanding the division of reservoirs on the basis of territorial boundaries as defined in the AP Reorganisation Act.
