CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – At least 220 personnel from the Police Regional Mobile Force Battalion III have been placed on standby as the Central Luzon police braces for Labor Day protests on Tuesday. Amador Corpus, Central Luzon police director. Provincial and city police units have also been placed on standby for civil disturbance management in Metro Manila. The Workers for People’s Liberation and Workers Alliance in Region III are holding separate rallies that are set to start at10 a.m. in Pampanga. Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Central Luzon have organized job fairs to fill up 2,865 job vacancies and 565 overseas work, said Zenaida Angara-Campita, DOLE regional director.
