Photo: ODTCentral Dunedin is set to lose about 40 public car parks for two months while repairs are carried out on a parking building. Dunedin City Council announced this afternoon the public section of the Wall Street car park, which is in St Andrew St, will be be closed from April 1 for two months of repairs. Repairs were needed to the car park deck, some steel screen sections and a couple of seismic joints, the council said in a statement. The south side of the car park will be open to leaseholders only, but the north side – which has about 40 public car parks – will be closed while this work is done.
