By Stephen NakrosisEntities affiliated with Centerbridge Partners, L.P. on Friday said in a filing that they decided to explore possible strategic transactions involving Indus Realty Trust, Inc., including pursuing a proposal to acquire the outstanding shares of common stock not currently held by Centerbridge. The filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission said shares in Indus, a real estate business, were initially acquired for investment purposes. Terms of a potential proposal and whether any proposal would be made haven't been determined, according to the filing. The filing also said discussions with Indus' management, board, potential acquirers and stockholders, among others, are expected to continue. In the filing, Centerbridge reported a 14.8% stake in Indus.
