Centenarian Gwyneth Evans celebrates 100 years of good livingJOHN BISSET/STUFF Gwyneth Evans marked her 100th birthday with a celebration at The Croft rest home and with her family at the farm she was brought up at in the Paroera Gorge. Gwyneth Evans celebrated her centennial birthday at a pair of celebrations on Saturday. Her nephew Peter Evans and his wife, Jane, were just two of the more than 40 family and friends from three generations who helped to mark the occasion. Gwyneth was an example that good living could indeed be good for you, according to Jane Evans. Family and friends from as far afield as Australia, New Plymouth, Wellington and Christchurch made the effort to travel down to Pareora.
