Lennon took over at Celtic for his second spell as manager on a temporary basis after Brendan Rodgers left Scotland to join Leicester in January. “If he knows what is going on with his future, then I’d want him in my poker team,” Chris Sutton told the Daily Record ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup final against Hearts. “In fact, it actually leads me to think the Celtic hierarchy do not really trust him. Sutton is adamant that the job Lennon has done since returning has warranted a permanent contract, but admits that an offer seems unlikely.
