Celtic handed Neil Lennon the permanent reins at the club for the second time in his managerial career after he helped secure a historic treble treble. Lennon took over as caretaker in February after Brendan Rodgers turned his back on the Hoops to take over at Premier League outfit Leicester City. Despite the club looking into the prospect of appointing either Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho, Lennon received an offer after securing both the Premiership and Scottish Cup titles in May. Rangers fans were quick to reveal their joy at the decision made by their bitter rivals, and backed Steven Gerrard to lead them to domestic glory next season.
