Celtic will take on Temuka on Saturday at Alpine Energy Stadium in the grand final after getting past Waimate 27-20. Celtic qualified in fourth spot and have survived two sudden death semis to make it to the grand final. At Manchester Park it could have gone either way, but Waimate didn't take their chances while Celtic went back to their magnificent pack and the eight delivered. Waimate then had another opportunity off a stolen ball and kicked ahead but the bounce of the ball beat Patterson, who had looked likely to grab his second try. Celtic then roared back into life and a hectic couple of minutes saw Waimate lock Henry Bryce sin binned after a team warning.
