It's said she had been struggling with illness in recent months including memory loss, loss of vision and hearing impairment, according to TMZ. Also she was fondly nicknamed and known as Maman Dion. Maman Dion was the mother of 14 children including singer Celine. In loving tribute, Celine expressed she and her 13 siblings loved her mum so much and accompanied it with a family portrait. As well as her glitzy showbiz career, she founded the Maman Dion Foundation in 2006 which helped provide support to underprivileged children in Quebec.
