MANILA, Philippines — Celebrities shared their excitement over University of the Philippines' first win in 32 years after UP's Fighting Maroons beat Adamson University's Falcons, 89-87, at the men's basketball semifinals of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) held at the Araneta Coliseum. UP will go against defending champions Ateneo de Manila University in the finals, dubbed "The Battle of Katipunan." Journalist Atom Araullo posted on Twitter his maroon tie to support UP, saying: “Breaking out the maroon tie for our team! Excited for Saturday!” Karylle wrote on Twitter, while Robi Domingo wrote: “BATTLE OF KATIPUNAN.”Congrats, UP!
