Cebu Pacific plane aborts take-off then catches fire, all passengers safeA Cebu Pacific turboprop aircraft bound for Tacloban City aborted take-off last night due to a fluctuating oil indicator on one of its engines. MB FIle | Cebu Pacific (mb.com.ph)The fire was immediately extinguished. However, one of the passengers sustained a minor injury that required assistance from the airport medical staff. CEB arranged for hotel accommodations, and provided meals and transfers to the affected passengers. CEB’s maintenance team is conducting initial inspection of the aircraft, and has reported the incident to aircraft manufacturer ATR.
