MANILA, Philippines — Two additional confirmed cases of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in Cavite province. Remulla added that a person under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19 infection from Novoleta has tested negative for the virus. The whole island of Luzon has been placed under “enhanced community quarantine” in a bid to curb the spread of the virus in the country. Most people who have COVID-19 can recover as its symptoms are mild, such as fever and cough.
