more-inKarimnagar legislator G. Kamalakar has termed the case of the caved R&B road at Mankammathota in Karimnagar town on Sunday following the rains as accidental and not due to poor quality of works of the road. Instructing the R&B and municipal officials to conduct a thorough inquiry into the damage of the newly-laid R&B road, he said that they would not spare the officials if found guilty and would blacklist the contractor. The Karimnagar legislator along with Mayor S. Ravinder Singh, Municipal Commissioner K. Shashanka and R&B officials visited the caved-in R&B road and inspected the damages in the town on Monday. Claiming that there were no lapses on the part of R&B officials in the laying of quality road, he said that if quality of roads was questionable, then all the R&B roads laid recently should have caved in due to the rains. He also assured to take all measures to avoid recurrence of such incidents in Karimnagar town by replacing all the underground water pipelines.
