Corruption in the Philippines, just like in Venezuela, has become so deeply entrenched and systemic. In Venezuela, corruption is deeply rooted in its vast oil reserves. It may well be referring to the Philippines, where corruption and political patronage pull the strings, turning our institutions into marionettes.
