Perhaps what I can urge is an element of caution about these allegations especially when so much is at stake. The alleged behaviours range from making women uncomfortable and making unwanted sexual propositions to sexual assaults and rape. A few years ago a list of men accused of sexually offending against members of the rūnanga in Kaikōura was composed. After the Weinstein allegations a "Shitty Media Men" spreadsheet circulated on the internet, eventually landing on Reddit and Twitter.
