The Local Police of Arrecife has intercepted in less than a day two young drivers who were driving through the Lanzarotean capital despite having lost the totality of the points of their driving license. The agents of the Citizen Attention Operational Groups (GOAC) detected both infractions during routine surveillance and prevention tasks in terms of road safety. Just a few hours later, on March 19 at 6:10 p.m., the Local Police located a second vehicle on Iguazú Street. On this occasion, the officers already knew the 26-year-old driver beforehand, for having lost his right to drive. Penal consequencesIn both cases, the young people have remained in the capacity of investigated but not detained as alleged perpetrators of crimes against road safety.
