The deceased, Badsha Miah, 45, a resident of Dinajpur’s Nababganj-- was returning to his hometown from Lalmonirhat with his cattles in a three wheeler on Wednesday. At one point, they took away Badsha’s money, Tk3,50,000 and rode their car. “When Badsha stood in front of their car to stop them, they ran over and killed him on the spot and fled the scene,” said Jakir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Mithapukur police station. “We are conducting drives to arrest the perpetrators,” added the OC.
