Catholic schools observe ‘Huwag Kang Magnakaw’ month 0 SHARES Share it! Share TweetBy Christina HermosoThe Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) National Capital Region (NCR) Advocacy Committee has launched an initiative observing the month of September as ‘Huwag Kang Magnakaw’ (Though Shall Not Steal) month. The priest, however, stressed that change must come from within a person, in his heart, following the slogan written on the shirt – ‘Huwag Kang Magnakaw’ to help promote the advocacy. The CEAP-NCR consists of 173 member Catholic schools from the eight dioceses in the National Capital Region. The local Church launched the ‘Huwag Kang Magnakaw’ advocacy on December 16, 2014, which was taken from the seventh commandment ‘Though Shall Not Steal,’ to show its protest against corruption in government.
