A disgraced Catholic bishop who was accused of visiting a notorious Mexican mega-brothel 12 times in one month was abruptly arrested on his way out of the country. According to a private investigator, Shaleta reportedly made more than a dozen trips to the club in just one month. The woman reportedly relocated to San Diego after Shaleta was appointed as Bishop in 2017. Shaleta was transported to San Diego Central Jail and is being held on a $125,000 bail as he awaits arraignment. The Daily Mail contacted the San Diego County Sheriff's Office and the Chaldean Catholic Eparchy for comment.
