Are you concerned about the influence the recent Netflix series, "13 Reasons Why," may have on your child? Do you know how to talk to a teen or young adult about suicide? Get answers to these and other questions at “Talking to Teens About Suicide,” from 6:30-8 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 26, at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Meredith. Parents and all who work with teens and young adults are welcome to the free program. John J. Mahoney Jr., Director of Catholic Charities New Hampshire Counseling Services, will lead a team of Catholic Charities NH counselors skilled in working with adolescents in dispelling myths and identifying risk factors and warning signs of teen suicide.
