They are fawns that should not be here and do not want to be here, using resources, funds and time that would be more beneficial to truly orphaned fawns. Quietly walk away, as the fawn’s mother is nearby watching you. It is normal for the mother to leave her fawn while she goes off by herself. I cannot emphasize strongly enough: Unless you can verify that the doe is dead, please leave fawns alone.
